Established Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser Maternity Cover – 12 month contract from end of July/early Aug. LONDON OR BRISTOL BASED. 4-5 DAYS / WEEK, MINIMUM 2 DAYS/WEEK IN THE OFFICE.

At Beyond Nine we have ambitious plans for the future and we’re looking for an impressive Senior Merchandiser for 12 months Maternity Cover to help us on our journey. We are looking for a highly motivated and impressive individual with a positive outlook to join our expanding team. The role will be responsible for all merchandising functions, including the management of our Assistant Merchandiser. Key Responsibilities

  • Working with the Production and Design Team to develop and create a commercial and viable range, taking ownership of seasonal range plans & line detail maintenance, using historical data to influence and drive decision making.
  • Managing brand and category WSSI’s, to include seasonal set up and monthly reforecasting whilst proactively managing OTB, sales and stock phasing across categories to react to demand.
  • Proactively manage stock levels protecting cash flow whilst optimising sales potential and managing risk
  • Working alongside Production team to ensure margin targets are met or exceeded for the season
  • Work alongside founder and COO to agree and manage financial targets.
  • Working closely with suppliers and the Production Manager to reduce lead times through fabric management, seasonal supplier production planning and other initiatives.
  • Responsible for maintaining invoice cost tracker
  • Responsible for communication of product launches to wider team, working with Production Manager to ensure cohesive weekly product launches are appealing to our customer.
  • Collate and analyse data identifying consumer trends, opportunities and risks, influencing the wider team to optimise brand profitability.
  • Lead and present weekly trade, monthly review meetings and seasonal strategy confidently articulating financial KPI’s.
  • Take ownership of weekly, monthly and seasonal sales targets
  • Manage markdown and promotional proposals
  • Responsible for overseeing logistics of all product reaching our warehouse working with suppliers to ensure goods are shipped on time in line with stock launch requirements
  • Manage and mentor our Assistant Merchandiser with regular 1-2-1s to drive her development.
  • Assist the continued growth of Beyond Nine, taking a key role in new product development propositions as well as any future wholesale growth opportunities.

 Skills Required:

  • Previous experience at Senior Merch or Established Merchandiser level within the retail fashion sector, ideally womenswear
  • Passionate, self driven and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a fast paced environment
  • Pro-active and solutions focussed
  • Highly organised individual who is agile and able to adapt to changing business priorities
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Commercial acumen
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work under pressure and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Advanced excel skills
  • Shopify experience a plus but not essential
  • A strong understanding of the Beyond Nine customer

Marketing Executive - BRISTOL OR LONDON OFFICE, FULL TIME, OFFICE BASED 2-3 DAYS PER WEEK.

 Job description 

 We’re looking for a creative, fashion focused marketing executive to work with us on our online social presence at an exciting time of growth. 

 This role is fast paced and ever evolving! It involves executing our organic social media strategy and working on the day to day social media accounts for Beyond Nine.

The ideal candidate needs to be able to create and edit engaging and inspirational content for our social media channels from video content through to graphics. We’re looking for someone who has their finger on the pulse and knows social media inside and out. You’ll understand what’s trending across social media and be able to apply that to our brand messaging in a forward thinking and inspirational way in line with our marketing calendar. We’re looking for someone who knows Instagram inside and out but who is also experienced with Tik Tok and Pinterest. 

 Social media is at the forefront of our community management so excellent copywriting skills and first class communication skills are essential. This role will also support copywriting across our other marketing channels such as email and our website from time to time. Supporting photo shoots is another key part of the role. From pulling the shot lists together to coordinating the shoots to stay on schedule. 

 The successful candidate will be super organised and a self starter and being able to juggle priorities is important.You’ll be working closely with our Founder and Head of Brand and Content to help take our social media presence to the next level.

 The role is a hybrid role but the ideal candidate needs to be flexible to work in both our London and Bristol offices and travel where needed.


Responsibilities 

  • Creating content for social media in line with our marketing calendar and content plan
  • Filming video content 
  • Editing video content 
  • Writing copy for social media in our brand tone of voice
  • Scheduling content 
  • Community engagement across social media 
  • Daily admin across our social media including answering some DM’s
  • Bringing content ideas to the table 
  • Support with influencer engagement, outreach and communication 
  • Supporting with additional content requirements such as writing blogs and journal pieces 
  • Assisting with photo shoots from pulling a shot list together to co-ordinating the shoot to creating BTS content
  • Writing copy for the website and email

 

Experience 

  • Experience of working within social media for at least 2 years
  • In depth knowledge of Instagram, Tik tok and Pinterest 
  • Capable of producing excellent video content for social 
  • Excellent copywriting skills
  • Community management skills
  • A good eye for detail 
  • Experience of using Canva and Adobe suite 
  • Fashion background preferred but not essential 
  • Flexible and able to work in an agile manner
