About Beyond Nine

Beyond Nine is a British womenswear brand, founded by Naomi and based in Bristol. We’re a team of around 25, designing in-house and selling direct to our customers online through beyondnine.co.uk — to the UK, and to a fast-growing international customer base in the US, Canada, Europe and Australia.

We’re on a mission to make getting dressed the best part of your day. Bodies change — pregnancy, postpartum, hormones, ageing and everything in between — yet so much of fashion is designed for just one version of you, at one particular moment. We make feel-good clothes that are easy to wear, comfortable to move in and made for real life: pieces you’ll reach for on workdays, weekends, holidays, celebrations and all the ordinary days in between. Rather than building a new wardrobe every time life changes, we believe in creating one that fits every version of you. We’re social-first in content and approach, with an Instagram community of more than 350,000 at the centre of how the brand shows up.

The role

What you’ll do

• Design and adapt assets across social, paid social, email and CRM, web, and occasional print Design for each social channel and format on its own terms: feed, stories, carousels, reels covers and paid ad units across Instagram, TikTok and Pinterest.
• Image editing as part of day-to-day production: cropping, resizing, layout adjustments and simple retouching.
• Translate campaign concepts and mood boards into a full suite of channel-specific deliverables.
• Build seasonal campaign toolkits that carry one idea across site, email, social and paid. Turn around promotional creative at pace, understanding commercial and legal requirements and balancing them with the brand.
• Own file organisation, naming and version control so the whole team can find and reuse assets.
• Maintain and evolve brand visual consistency across a growing library of touchpoints. Partner closely with the Founder, Creative Production Lead and Social Media Manager to keep output fast, high-volume and on-brand.
• Take rough direction and self-direct, proactively spotting what’s needed rather than waiting to be briefed.
• Help shape and document our brand identity system — typography, colour, layout, illustration and pattern work — as it develops.

What you’ll bring

• Around 5 years’ in-house or agency experience in a fast-paced, high-output design role (fashion, lifestyle or DTC brand experience a strong plus).
• Experience working directly with a creative founder or hands-on creative lead: comfortable taking fast, instinctive direction, interpreting it faithfully, and coming back with work that moves it on.
• A positive, can-do approach, and the natural curiosity to push boundaries and challenge the norm rather than settle for the obvious answer.
• Excellent craft across digital and static design: typography, layout, colour, composition. Fluency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). A working knowledge of systems like Shopify and Klaviyo, and a solid understanding of social platform requirements, especially Meta’s creative specs and formats.
• Comfort working across a huge range of formats and sizes at pace, without losing quality. A genuine eye for warmth, texture and character, not just clean minimalism. Strong self-management: you don’t need a detailed brief to get moving.
• Bonus: motion and animation basics (Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut) for social content.
