Purpose of the role

Beyond Nine are looking for an experienced Production Manager to oversees all stages of apparel manufacturing, ensuring products are produced efficiently, on time, and to the required quality standards, while managing resources and budgets. The team is highly collaborative and therefore you must work well in a fun, friendly team. This is a pivotal role for us - we are looking for someone who can hold the DNA of Beyond Nine.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain existing production schedules, ensuring timely completion of orders throughout the cover period.
• Impact and oversee all stages of the manufacturing process—from sourcing materials to packaging through to shipping finished goods.
• Work collaboratively with the Development team to ensure any and all product queries are actioned in alignment with Milestone critical path deadlines.
• Lead the review of all shipment samples and AQLs, liaising with the Technical Developer on queries to ensure brand quality standards are strictly maintained.
• Collate and review all Supplier Inspections prior to goods shipping, providing clear action points and final approvals for departure.
• Attend all product-related sign-off meetings in person, adhering to the company Critical Path.
• Maintain high standards across the supply chain, ensuring compliance at all stages using existing Vendor manuals and onboarding frameworks.
• Facilitate regular reviews of supply chain sustainable compliance; collate supplier ethical and social compliance audits alongside material and transaction certifications.
• Support the Head of Production & Sourcing with supplier/mill sourcing and onboarding new suppliers as needed to align with evolving business requirements.
• Conduct seasonal supplier performance reviews, providing detailed findings and key action points for improvement to internal and external stakeholders.
• Monitor and manage production costs to stay within budget without compromising quality.
• Ensure on-time capture and tracking of all incoming bulk invoices.
• Manage the bulk budget and cash flow to provide Finance with regular, accurate views of spend, proactively finding solutions to support budget goals and maximize payment terms.
• Collaborate with the Customer Experience team and Technical Developer on faulty queries, ensuring any costs related to manufacturing defects are flagged with the supply chain along with relevant charges.

• Deliver and achieve company target weighted intake margins during the contract period.
• Successfully maintain critical path milestone dates, providing clear data capture and key performance metrics.
• Seamlessly maintain continuity in team operations, supply chain relationships, and process standards throughout the cover period.

• Internal: Product Development Manager, Head of Design, Womenswear Designer, Head of Marketing, Head of PR, Head of Merch, Merchandising Assistant, Head of Marketing
• External: Supply Chain, Warehouse, External Pattern Cutters, 3rd Party Inspector

Skills and Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in multi category product production within the fashion industry, preferably in multi-product womenswear.
• Experience working with factories and suppliers, with a clear understanding of production processes and timelines.
• Knowledge of fabrics, trims, and finishing techniques an asset
• Proficiency Excel, and PLM software (or similar tools).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Role

Beyond Nine is a feel-good, values-led womenswear brand, with a positive and collaborative working culture that reflects the ethos behind its designs.The PR & Partnerships Executive will play a key role in driving Beyond Nine’s brand visibility and reputation through impactful PR, influencer, and partnership activity. Working closely with the Head of PR & Partnerships, the Executive will help shape and deliver integrated campaigns that grow awareness, strengthen relationships with media and creators, and enhance the brand’s community-led presence across all touchpoints.

Responsibilities

PR Strategy & Campaign Execution

• Support in the development and delivery of strategic PR plans across fashion, lifestyle, and business press.
• Build and nurture strong relationships with editors, journalists, stylists, and media contacts.
• Draft high-quality press releases, media alerts, and founder Q&As that reflect Beyond Nine’s tone and values.
• Manage press outreach to secure consistent, high-impact coverage and product placements.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on media performance to inform ongoing strategy.
• Assist in planning and delivering seasonal media events, press days, and brand activations.

Influencer & Partnerships Management

• Coordinate influencer gifting, paid partnerships, and long-term collaborations.
• Identify and onboard influencers whose audiences and values align with Beyond Nine.
• Liaise directly with creators to manage briefs, approvals, and deliverables.
• Support the Head of PR & Partnerships in developing brand partnerships and community-driven initiatives and events.
• Track influencer activity and compile performance reports to measure ROI and engagement.

Content & Community Support

• Collaborate with the Brand and Social teams to ensure PR and influencer activity aligns with content and campaign calendars.
• Support the creation of storytelling assets (images, copy, video snippets) for press and partnership use.
• Stay attuned to cultural and industry trends, identifying timely opportunities for Beyond Nine to engage in relevant conversations.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain and update media lists, influencer databases, and partnership trackers.
• Compile weekly, and monthly PR and partnership performance summaries.
• Manage sample inventory and gifting logistics to ensure smooth campaign execution.

Skills & Experience Required

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in PR, influencer marketing, or partnerships within fashion, lifestyle, or related industries.
• Strong press and influencer network and an understanding of the evolving media landscape.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and Canva 
• Proficient user of social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.

About Beyond Nine 

Beyond Nine is a high-growth, ecommerce-led brand built on Shopify. International expansion is a core part of our  growth strategy, and we're looking for a commercially sharp Financial Controller to bring rigour, structure and pace to  our finance function as we scale into new markets. 

The Role 

We're looking for an experienced Financial Controller to own the day-to-day finance function and act as a trusted right  hand to the CEO and founder. You'll bring order and discipline to a fast-moving, high-growth ecommerce business —  with the judgement to move quickly when the numbers demand it, and the attention to detail to make sure nothing slips.  This is a hands-on role: you'll be as comfortable running payroll and payment runs as you are presenting management  accounts and cashflow forecasts to the leadership team. 

Key Responsibilities 

Financial control & reporting 

• Take full ownership of the P&L, understanding the drivers of performance and holding budget owners to account  for variances.
• Own the finance function end-to-end, managing all accounting activity through Xero. 
• Prepare accurate, timely monthly management account packs, including commentary and variance analysis for the  leadership team. 
• Prepare monthly board packs, presenting financial performance and key metrics clearly to the CEO, founder and  wider board. 
• Manage the relationship with our external accountants, coordinating on statutory accounts, corporation tax, and  compliance. 
• Own the weekly payment run process, ensuring suppliers and partners are paid accurately and on time. 
• Own oversight of accounts payable controls, ensuring payments are three-way matched against purchase orders  and approved invoices before release. 
• Manage end-to-end payroll, including PAYE, pensions and any international payroll considerations. • Manage the expenses process, including policy adherence and approvals. 
• Build and maintain strong financial controls and processes appropriate for a scaling business. 

Cashflow & commercial finance 

• Own cashflow management and forecasting, with the ability to reforecast dynamically as trading conditions  change. 
• Provide the CEO and founder with clear, real-time visibility of cash position, working capital and risk. • Support budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning across the business. 
• Translate financial data into clear commercial insight that supports fast, confident decision-making. 
• Manage relationships with the company's banking and credit partners, including day-to-day banking, loan/credit  facilities and covenant requirements. 
• Maintain strict discipline around debt repayments, ensuring all loan and credit facility repayments are made  accurately and on time, in line with lender and covenant requirements.

Ecommerce & international finance 

• Manage the financial operations specific to an ecommerce business on Shopify, including reconciliation of  platform payouts, payment gateway fees (including PayPal, Clearpay) and multi-channel sales, using A2X to  automate Shopify-to-Xero reconciliation. 
• Perform sales-to-cash reconciliation, verifying that gross sales convert to cash in the bank. 
• Understand and manage the financial nuances of international markets — including multi-currency transactions,  VAT/tax treatment, and market-specific compliance requirements — as international is a key area of growth. 
• Own preparation of UK and international VAT returns, with our external accountants filing based on the figures  provided. 
• Support decision-making on new market launches with commercial and financial due diligence. • Maintain a strong understanding of inventory, COGS and landed cost accounting relevant to ecommerce. 
• Work with our logistics provider to obtain seasonal stock take data, reconcile physical stock counts against system  records, and manage any resulting stock loss or valuation adjustments. 

Business partnering 

• Build confidence with the CEO, founder and wider leadership team through clear, proactive and reliable financial  reporting. 
• Partner with operations, product and marketing teams to ensure financial considerations are embedded in  commercial decisions.

About You 

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience. • Proven experience as a Financial Controller (or senior finance leader) within a high-growth, ecommerce-led brand. • Strong hands-on experience with Xero and A2X, and comfortable working with outsourced accounting partners. 
• Direct experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms, and the associated financial reconciliation  challenges. 
• Experience operating in or supporting international markets, with a solid grasp of multi-currency and cross-border  VAT/tax nuances. 
• Strong track record in cashflow management, with the agility to adapt plans dynamically as the business evolves. • Exceptional attention to detail, balanced with the pace and pragmatism a high-growth business demands.
• A confident communicator, able to build trust and credibility with founders and senior stakeholders. 
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills; comfortable working with financial systems and reporting tools more  broadly. 
• Resilient, hands-on and comfortable operating without the infrastructure of a larger corporate finance team.
• Able to commit to the Bristol office a minimum of 3 days per week.
