We’re so excited to chat with Hannah MacLeod from Graham St — because when it comes to providing fashion inspiration for women of all ages, she’s leading the charge. We’ve been longtime fans of Graham St and their mission to bridge the generation gap in fashion. With over 18 years as a stylist, Hannah has seen firsthand how the industry sidelines women over 30 and beyond. But she’s determined to flip the script.
By styling herself and her mum and proving that confidence has no age limit, Hannah is creating a space where women wear what makes them feel good — not what the industry tells them to.

Tell us a little about you both and Graham St
I have been a stylist for 18 years, I used to dress celebrities but after having my first daughter, it became tricky to juggle the world of celebrity dressing with being a new mum. During this transition, I was noticing a distinct lack of representation and inspiration for women as they aged but on the street I was seeing women looking incredible well into their 70s. So, as I was winding the celebrity styling down, Graham St was born and I dragged my limelight shy mother into the spotlight in order to realise my idea! I wanted to create a space for women in search of style inspiration at any age.
How would you describe your individual styles?
Mum’s style is much more classic than mine. I adore clothes so I like to experiment with what I wear whereas mum, although she loves clothes too, likes to stick to a clean, simple aesthetic. For both us, style is about what makes us feel good.
How does fashion play a part in your mum - daughter relationship?
A lot of phone calls that start with…”Hannah, I’m going out for dinner and I’m wondering whether X will look good with Y……”!
What does ageless style mean to you?
Wearing whatever makes you feel really good.
How important is feeling good in your clothes?
Extremely! It’s everything. We all know the feeling of walking into a room when we don’t feel right, and conversely the feeling of walking into a room when you know you’ve nailed your outfit!
Who is your biggest influence in your style?
There isn’t one specific person, it’s a huge array of people spanning from friends and family to people that I see on the street or characters in films or on TV or in magazines. I have a good memory for the aesthetics, so once something has struck a chord in my mind, it is lodged there and will come out as inspiration later down the line.
Do you have a favourite Beyond Nine piece, why?
I am absolutely loving the knitwear at the moment. I think that the quality and colours are fantastic, I am particularly loving the cotton jumpers for Spring!
