I first discovered Beyond Nine over three years ago via Instagram. Sometimes the algorithm works in your favour!
Founded, as most great businesses are, at the kitchen table, inspired by a gap in the market and subsequently an old item of clothing belonging to founder Naomi’s mum.
Beyond Nine has succeeded where no other brand has, creating clothes that women want to wear through all stages of womanhood. Having worked in the fashion industry for over 25 years I can tell you that is no easy task, women’s bodies and needs are ever changing, so establishing key pieces that are consistent reliable, great quality, accessible and fun, was until now the Holy Grail!
Jenny wears Savannah in Black and White Gingham
It was the brands founding item, the jumpsuit, that first sparked my interest. The Gingham Savannah, a brand staple, with its relaxed fit, popper front, cropped wide leg shape, textured linen and pockets was unlike anything else I had in my wardrobe, particularly as it was a jumpsuit that so easy to get in and out of, we all know the importance of that!

My second Beyond Nine item was another brand icon, the Mabel barrel leg, a silhouette I’d loved and worn for years but could no longer find. Mabel is now a go to in my wardrobe in various colours and patterns. My favourite recent additions being the co-ords. I mean who doesn’t love their breezy effortlessness, their playful attitude, and unique ability to make even the most relaxed outfit looked polished. The Chambray Mabel and Esme and linen Ari and Esme are pieces I wear on repeat, but also mix and match with other items in my wardrobe. I dress them up and down and always reach for them on days when nothing else seems to work. These sets have become synonymous with the brand, often selling out as soon as they land, I highly recommend signing up the mailing list to get first dibs!

This is a brand that knows what women want, consistently fulfilling our needs. Everything has pockets, styles are relevant but timeless, fabrics are considered and hard wearing, they deliver on style and comfort in equal measure. There are no boxes left un ticked, but be in no doubt, Beyond Nine will continue to evolve and be part of our lives and the lives of many more girls as they become women. A joyful inspiring Brand, community and family that’s reliable, consistent and let’s face it flipping cool.
