We have been enjoying @NinaCachia's style for a while now. We love the way she pulls together her looks and styles her Beyond Nine pieces, always SO good. We asked her to join us on a street style shoot to work her magic and style some of the collection. She nailed it, just like we knew she would, but naturally we wanted to dig a little deeper and find out more about the inspiration behind her style.

TELL US A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOURSELF AND YOUR ACCOUNT?

I studied fashion and textiles at university but changed to an English degree after a couple of years. If I’m totally honest, while I do love being an English Teacher, my fist love has always been colour, fabrics and visuals. It’s always been a big part of who I am.

I have always had an Instagram account, and used to blog about beauty products, with the odd outfit post thrown in. I guess it was just a little side hobby, as escapism, from the sometimes very serious politics of the education sector, which I’m so embroiled in, on a daily basis. However my account, was a little bit haphazard, lacking in direction and therefore never really went anywhere. Last summer, I plucked up the courage to show outfits and items that I really loved.

WHO OR WHAT INFLUENCES YOUR STYLE?

To be honest everyone and anything. People watching is one my favourite past times- especially in a European city. I was born in Oslo and lived in Stockholm during my twenties- Scandinavian style has always been my favourite, and the Danes just get the blend so right. I love their eclectic mix of vintage and designer items.

WHO IS YOUR ULTIMATE STYLE CRUSH?

It has to be Pernille Rosenkilde - the way she, unapologetically pairs scruffy trainers with a designer dress; it’s literally so perfect. I love how, she never saves anything for best.

Nathalie wears the Khaki Mabel Trousers in stock now and, the Nora Swing Top, coming soon.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT BEYOND NINE?

The collections are wearable, classic and comfortable - Not just as a mother but for everyone. You can wear the styles all day, and still feel good about yourself. Personally for me as a mother, feeling nice is really important and when running about after a toddler all day- it’s easy to lose oneself in leggings and a stained hoody.

TALK US THROUGH HOW YOU HAVE STYLED SOME OF THE LOOKS?

One of the main aspects I love about Beyond Nine is the laid back, lucid feel the pieces have. I’ve kept the looks fairly paired down, casual and relaxed, mainly because that’s my style - I rarely wear heels or anything very dressy, as it just doesn’t suit my lifestyle. I would wear the Bonnie dress look on a night out and during the day and feel fab and comfortable- and above all myself! I really love how versatile Beyond Nine’s collections are. Some of the pieces are excellent styled on their own; the Savannah Jumpsuit's colourway speaks for itself, and the Blue Crocs help it to stay fun, light and energetic.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE BEYOND NINE PIECE?

This is a tricky one. I actually live in my Olive Jenny and Hugh, both as separates and as a pair. So I might have to say that combination. But the Bonnie flash green dress, is such a great colour, that I might (probably will) change my mind come the warmer months. The Mono Check Joni jumpsuit, is a close contender too- I prefer it without the belt and chunky sandals, so good!

Stay tuned for pieces that Nathalie has styled. All coming soon....
